Immigration Museum:

The Immigration Museum, located in Melbourne’s historic Old Customs House since 1998, celebrates identity, cultural diversity, and human connection through immersive exhibitions, collections, events, and educational programs. Its permanent exhibition Identity: Yours, Mine, Ours explores self-expression and cultural heritage, while other displays trace migrant journeys, reasons for leaving home, and the evolution of immigration policy. Voices Across Time highlights intersections between First Peoples’ experiences and migrant stories. The museum also hosts vibrant community festivals, offers genealogical research at the Immigration Discovery Centre, and honors immigrants in the Tribute Garden.
