Drawing from a diverse range of influences, Iaki’s distinctive style blends elements of Latin American rhythms, jazz melodies, and folk music. In this passion and nostalgia filled concert, titled ‘Harmonies Unveiled’, Iaki breathes new life into timeless classics including the iconic, ‘Balada para un loco’ by the legendary composer Astor Piazzolla. Joined by pianist Martin Pang, Iaki’s soulful voice intertwines with Pang’s virtuosic piano playing, creating a harmonious fusion of emotion and melody not to be missed.

Iaki Vallejo is a Colombian African descendant singer/ songwriter, performer, choir director, visual artist, music producer, video producer and director based in Melbourne. Her multifaceted creative expression crosses disciplines and genres and manifests in many ways but is always informed by her ancestry. Known for her warmth, charisma and the brio she brings to the stage, Iaki thrills audiences with her exquisite vocals and unique approach to her song writing, resulting in a nomination for The Best Intercultural Act in the 2019 Music Victoria Awards.
