Regional Runways Inc. presents Tamaduni & Arts Fest. Geelong Tamaduni means ‘traditional’ in Swahili and aims to celebrate and showcase the rich tapestry of Regional Victoria’s diverse multicultural communities by bringing together emerging and established designers to present their unique cultural collections in an exhibition.

This event would not be possible without our partners, City of Greater Geelong, Geelong Library, Department of Fairness Families and Housing.

The Tamaduni & Arts exhibition aims to be a vibrant homage to the diverse cultural mix that forms the heart of Victoria’s identity. This Cultural Exhibition will feature exhibits of traditional crafts, textiles, and cultural artistry and artefacts. From the vibrant African textiles symbolizing societal status and folklore to the intricate Afghan embroidery embodying centuries of history and identity, these displays offer a tangible connection to global heritages.
