Soulectric
Brotha Asanti and his band Soulectric are bringing their afro jazzy house sound to The Chapel Theatre in what is guaranteed to be a night to remember. With a focus on storytelling, the music of Soulectric is more than just catchy beats and smooth melodies – it’s a heartfelt expression of the human experience.
Amaru Tribe with special guest ethnodancer Kathleen Gonzalez
Nominated on three occasions for a Music Victoria Award as Best Multicultural Act – folktronic act Amaru Tribe presents a collaborative show with ethno-dancer Kathleen Gonzalez. Performing songs from their latest album ‘Between Two Worlds’ plus new unreleased material, the Tribe explores the intersection between cultures through traditional music from Latin America and contemporary electronic sounds.
