Come along and immerse yourself in the world of a Mime. Learn from renowned Mime artist Rod Lara whose career expands 24 years in theatre, film & TV.
Learn all the techniques of becoming a mime – particularly special as this year marks 100 years since the birth of Marcel Marceau.
Whether you are an actor or just curious, Rod’s workshops are fun and interactive and will be kept to small numbers to ensure each participant receives the best attention.

The Bastille Day French Festival of Melbourne will transport you to a classic wintry French town square and mark the start of the celebrations in the lead up to the French National Day.
A winter market packed with local French-Australian businesses, mouth-watering French cuisine, dazzling artists and performers, a ticketed program filled with Les Lumières talks, Walking Tours and masterclasses, right in the heart of the city! All with the delicious scent of croissants floating through the air. We will also have our Online Program in full swing so if you can’t join us in person, join us online for a range of live crosses to France, in conversations, musical delights and more!
