The Mauritian program has been part of radio 3ZZZ from its very beginning.
The first broadcast took place on 24 June 1989. From the outset, the program had a slot on Saturdays. Initially allocated one hour a week, the group was granted a second hour in 1992 and since 27 June of that year, the Saturday programs have been broadcast from noon to 2pm.
The magazine-style show is presented mostly in French and Mauritian Creole and occasionally includes some English. Regular features of the Saturday program include news from Mauritius and Rodrigues, a review of sports, community announcements and song requests.
A third hour was added to the schedule in February 2015, and on Friday 27 February of that year, we had our inaugural Friday program.
