3ZZZ goes into all the news and upcoming games for the Men’s and Women’s 2023 NPL Victoria season.

On Friday night, Melbourne Knights lost at home to South Melbourne 2-1. Heidelberg defeated St. Albans 3-0.Oakleigh won against Dandenong 2-1. And Green Gully surpassed Bentleigh 3-1. On Saturday, Moreland City lost at home against Port Melbourne 5-0. North Geelong also got smashed at home 5-0 to Altona Magic. And Avondale won yet again also, winning 1-0 to Hume City. 

The ladder has Avondale on top, followed by South Melbourne with both teams on 43 points, then Oakleigh Cannons, Melbourne Knights, Port Melbourne and Dandenong Thunder making the top 6. Green Gully are seventh, followed by Altona Magic, Heidelberg United, Hume City, St. Albans, Moreland City, Bentleigh Greens and North Geelong on the bottom. 

For round 17 on Friday night. Green Gully faces Port Melbourne away. And Heidelberg is away to Oakleigh Cannons. On Saturday North Geelong is at home to Avondale. Moreland City plays Altona Magic. Bentleigh Greens hosts Melbourne Knights. And on Sunday it’s St. Albans and Hume City and to finish the round, it’s South Melbourne and Dandenong Thunder.

For the NPLW, on Friday, Preston and Alamein had a 3-3 draw. On Saturday, Box Hill United won against Calder United 3-1. Bayside United edged past Southern United 3-2. Boroondara lost at home to Bulleen 3-2 And on Sunday, Heidelberg beat old rivals South Melbourne 2-0.

For the NPLW ladder Boroondara remain on top, followed by South Melbourne, Bulleen Lions, Heidelberg, Bayside United and Alamein make the top 6. Then we have Preston Lions, Calder United, Box Hill, FV Emerging and Southern United on the bottom. 

For the upcoming NPLW games for round 13. On Saturday it’s Alamein versus Calder United. Bayside hosts Boroondara Eagles. Southern United plays Box Hill United. On Sunday it’s South Melbourne up against FV Emerging. And on Monday night, it’s Bulleen and Heidelberg United.
