This is NPL on 3ZZZ, where we bring you all the results of the NPL Victoria Mens and Women’s competition. Brought to you by Bowens Timber and Hardware, Albert Street Cafe and Winsher Sports. My name is Rebecca Maakasa.

It was a goal fest on Friday night, as Green Gully defeated Port Melbourne 3-2 at Green Gully Reserve, and Oakleigh Cannons added to Heidelberg’s misery by thrashing United, 5 nil at Olympic Park. On Saturday Moreland City and Altona Magic had a one all draw. North Geelong lost at home to Avondale 4-1. Hume City and St. Albans drew 1 all. And South Melbourne kept their winning streak alive with a 1 nil win against Dandenong Thunder. And on Sunday night, Melbourne Knights had a 1 nil win at home against Bentleigh Greens.

The ladder has South Melbourne on top, followed by Oakleigh Cannons, Avondale, St. Albans, Green Gully and Port Melbourne to finish the top 6. Moreland City, Melbourne Knights, Altona, Dandenong Thunder, Hume City, North Geelong, Heidelberg United and Bentleigh Greens make up the rest of the ladder.
