3ZZZ goes into all the news and upcoming games for the Men’s and Women’s 2023 NPL Victoria season.

This is NPL on 3ZZZ, where we bring you all the results of the NPL Victoria Mens and Women’s competition. Brought to you by Bowens Timber and Hardware, Albert Street Cafe and Winsher Sports. My name is Rebecca Maakasa.
It was a goal fest on Friday night, as Green Gully defeated Port Melbourne 3-2 at Green Gully Reserve, and Oakleigh Cannons added to Heidelberg’s misery by thrashing United, 5 nil at Olympic Park. On Saturday Moreland City and Altona Magic had a one all draw. North Geelong lost at home to Avondale 4-1. Hume City and St. Albans drew 1 all. And South Melbourne kept their winning streak alive with a 1 nil win against Dandenong Thunder. And on Sunday night, Melbourne Knights had a 1 nil win at home against Bentleigh Greens.
The ladder has South Melbourne on top, followed by Oakleigh Cannons, Avondale, St. Albans, Green Gully and Port Melbourne to finish the top 6. Moreland City, Melbourne Knights, Altona, Dandenong Thunder, Hume City, North Geelong, Heidelberg United and Bentleigh Greens make up the rest of the ladder.
For the upcoming games for round 5, on Friday night at 7.30 Bentleigh Greens hosts Dandenong Thunder at Kingston Heath. On Saturday, Avondale takes on Moreland City at Avenger Park. North Geelong plays Hume City at Elcho Park. Melbourne Knights will visit Port Melbourne at S.S. Anderson Reserve. Altona Magic faces Green Gully at Paisley Park and to finish off the round, at Churchill Reserve it’s St. Albans versus Oakleigh Cannons.
On Friday the 17th and on Saturday the 18th it will be a big 2 days of football on 3ZZZ! 3ZZZ will be broadcasting live from Lakeside Stadium South Melbourne versus Heidelberg men’s and women’s matches.
On Friday night at 7.20 it’s South Melbourne versus Heidelberg men’s and on Saturday at 4.20pm 3ZZZ will broadcast the opening round of the NPLW season between South Melbourne and Heidelberg.
