On Friday night, Port Melbourne defeated St. Albans 2-0. On Saturday, Avondale kept winning this time against Dandenong 5-1. Moreland and Green Gully drew 1-1. Oakleigh won away to Bentleigh Greens 3-1. And Altona Magic squeezed past Heidelberg 3-2. On Sunday Melbourne Knights won on the road 3-0 against North Geelong, and South Melbourne and Hume City drew 2-2.
The ladder has Avondale on top, followed by Oakleigh Cannons, South Melbourne, Melbourne Knights, Port Melbourne and Altona Magic making the top 6. Green Gully are seventh, followed by Dandenong Thunder, Hume City, Heidelberg United, St. Albans, Bentleigh Greens, Moreland City and North Geelong on the bottom.
For round 22 on On Saturday Bentleigh faces South Melbourne. Heidelberg is at home to Avondale. Port Melbourne encounters Oakleigh Cannons. Hume City takes on Green Gully. Dandenong hosts North Geelong. On Sunday St. Albans takes on Altona, and to finish it’s Melbourne Knights versus Moreland City.
For the NPLW, on Friday night, Bulleen and South Melbourne drew 1-1. And Alamein won away to FV Emerging 3-1. On Saturday Boroondara defeated Calder in a thrilling 4-3 win. Bulleen also won in a highs coring match 4-2 against Bayside United. And finally, Preston defeated Heidelberg 3-0.
For the NPLW ladder Boroondara stay on top, followed by Bulleen, South Melbourne, Box Hill, Bayside United and Calder United make the top 6. Then we have Alamein, Preston Lions, Heidelberg, FV Emerging and Southern United on the bottom.
For the upcoming NPLW games for round 18. On Saturday it’s Alamein versus South Melbourne. Boroondara faces Southern United. On Sunday, Calder United is away to Heidelberg United. And to finish on Monday, Bulleen faces Box Hill United.
