ESPERANTO BROADCASTING GROUP

This program is for Esperantists - friends of Esperanto. Esperanto
was initiated in Poland by Ludovic Zamenhof in 1887. Esperanto is
a precise and regular auxiliary language, created for universal
communication. It is now spoken and taught in over 100 countries
around the world. Esperanto events that take place around the world
include World Congress', seminars and youth gatherings. The main
issues explored on the Esperanto program are: news, esperanto's
history, current affairs, literature and music.
Relations with other organizations such as UNESCO, Citizen of the
World, Amnesty International, World Ethnic Writers Association and
peace movements.
The program can be heard Monday, 1-2 pm, on 92.3 FM
(Melbourne)
