Spanish show
The Spanish-Speaking Broadcasting Group is made up of a mix of volunteers from different nationalities, including the emerging communities of Peru and Colombia. Ours is a young and vibrant team of volunteers who come from Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Australia. We have also had volunteers from Spain, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Cuba, Puerto Rico and many other parts of the world like Russia broadcasting in our group.
Through our programs we keep our community (23,373 ABS) informed and entertained in our language, spoken officially in 21 countries and which is only third to English and Mandarin in number of speakers.
Our shows include a variety of topics and information such as community events and issues, national and international news and current affairs, culture and entertainment. Most of our shows include a news segment at the start.
We also feature the rich variety of music from the Spanish-speaking world for the enjoyment of all.
Our aim is to keep our ‘community of communities’ entertained and informed of what really matters. We, the Spanish-speaking community, stand as one as our strength comes from our unity and coexistence, which is what Australia is all about.

Monday 6 pm ‘El Deportivo.’ -The latest national and international news from the world of sports, including community sports and events. Conducted by Daniel Protzman.

Tuesday 9 PM ‘La Bodeguita.’ -A show dedicated to the cultural and artistic activities in Melbourne and the rest of the world. Conducted by our Committee.

|
Wednesday 5 PM ‘Tranvía Latino.’ -A magazine-styled show which includes contests, biographies, short stories and other segments of interest. Conducted by Rocca Salcedo, Isidoro Uberman and Gustavo Bives.

Thursday 5 PM ‘Sin Fronteras.’ -A show in which we explore national and international news and current affairs, focusing on issues and poits of view not covered by the main media. Conducted by Oscar Recinos, Maria Cabello and Augusto Fernandez.

Friday 4 PM ‘Comunidades.’ -A show that offers the latest in community and multicultural events. A good start to the weekend with lots of entertainment and fun. Conducted by Daniel Protzman, Katy Ezard and Mayra Grana.

Friday midnight – 3 AM ‘Trasnoche’ – Different teams bring you a world of entertainment, news and music for your enjoyment at the weekend. Conducted by Arturo Juarez, Cesar Cisneros, Mario Marroquin, Daniel Protzman and Moises Iten.

Saturday 6 PM ‘Tropicalisimo’ –A show that promotes local bands, culture and musicians and the Latin American rhythms enjoyed worldwide. Conducted by Liliam Ceron Fernandez and guests.

Sunday 2 PM ‘Radionautas’ – A show with a variety of music, information and entertainment. A show produced for your listening pleasure. Conducted by Gabriel D’Angelo and Orly Sesma.
