3ZZZ is the Melbourne agent for BBC World Services. This allows people to subscribe to the BBC
World Service using a special portable radio receiver that will receive the signal throughout Greater Melbourne.
To access this service you will need the special portable radio subscription receiver to do so, normal radio receivers are
unable to pick the signal up, because they need to unlock a special scrambling code that are programmed into the
special portable radio subscription receivers.
To enquire about the cost of subscribing to the BBC World service (which includes the hire
of the special portable radio subscription receivers) please contact 3ZZZ:

Alternatively, the BBC World Service can also be listened to late at night on the 3ZZZ website for free.
